As many of you are familiar, WordPress blogs can be extremely powerful, versatile, and a quick & simple way to get your content or affiliate ad’s up; regardless of your technological knowledge.
However, one aspect of WordPress that is rarely utilized is the multi-site platform. Very similar to the mass auto blog creation, you are able to create massive amounts of blogs all across the internet without ever having to pay a penny for hosting ever again.
Many people, when they are wanting to create large amounts of PR usually turn to Web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo, Weebly, Blogger, and the like. Why? Well…for many reasons:
1. They are an easy source to quickly get your content up and noticed
2. The main site (such as Blogger.com) has both high authority (PR) and has constant continual backlinks.
3. Because of the prior 2, the content you post is usually index and searchable much faster than a normal blog.
What many people do not know, and that although these Web 2.0 sites (or Social Media sites) do have all of these “features”, Google also knows that they are “Web 2.0″ sites with a wide range of people that post a wide range of content on them – both good and bad. For this reason, even though the main site has a high PR and killer backlinks, your article/post is considered a seperate entity in a sense and the article/post loses a large majority of the “juice” from the main Social Site.
…I hope that you are following me so far…
Do I still use social sites? Yes, of course. But not in the capacity that I once did.
Recently, I have moved my efforts onto a new source…WordPress Multisite.
This is how it works:
Do a quick Google search for “/wp-signup”
You will find a list of website’s that already have WordPress Multisite installed. Now some of them are junk, but with that – some of them are quite high in their PR and backlink standing. Unlike the Social Sites, the WP Multisite is considered both a complete site and seperate sites in one.
So, what does this mean for you? It mean’s that whatever the main domain has, you don’t get all…but a very large chuck of their “Juice”.
In case you are wondering… “Why do they allow signups?”. Honestly…who knows.
Maybe they forgot to turn the signup off.
Maybe they have the signup turn on for a particular group of people.
Maybe they just don’t care.
In any case, take advantage of it! When you find a nice site that allows you to signup and create your own blog, the options are endless.
You could:
- Redirect all traffic to your money site
- Content Block the content
- Auto post content and make money from Adsense or Bidvertiser
- Create a truly unique link-wheel
- Or simply just create millions and millions of unique backlinks
